| 30 Apr 2005 | C. 'Ryuusei' Scriba | Wow! I love this! You are so talented! I thought I'd check out your gallery since you commented on mine, I'm glad I did! Amazing! Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "*hug* How sweet of you to say so! *hands you a bag of ice mice in thanks*" | |
| 31 May 2005 | Wendy Bittnerová | You really have a way with portraits. I can recognize just about all of the actors/characters. That's a real talent. Great pic! *smiles* Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "*grins broadly* Here have these...*passes you a bag of ice mice*" | |
| 21 Jul 2005 | Rebecca Faresso | You are a great artist and it's amazing how you capture all the characters, and with markers! o_O That's exactly the Harry i imagined! Keep it up! Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "Glad you approve! & yes I certainly *will* keep it up *hands you a sugar-spun quill for your comment*" | |
| 23 Jul 2005 | Allison 'Violinagin' Dollar | It's wonderful. I don't know what else to say. The simplicity and use of color. It's VERY lovely. Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "Simple is, as simple does Heheh...thanks for your appreciation *gives you a bag of jelly leg jellies for your kind comment*" | |
| 7 Aug 2005 | Fazekas Hanna | Hey, it's really really great! I've already commented your Hermione pic (which is also awesome), but I'm so glad you drew a Harry too, I love him so much! *_* Anyway, it's definitely Daniel Radcliffe's face, but fortunately from the third movie, I think that's the only film in which he look really good and really Harry-ish. Your technique is unique and really amazing, I love the blue colour you chose. You should make a felt-tip portrait of every single HP character, not just how the actors look, but with using your own imagination. I think it would be great, I'd definitely visit each and every one of them. Keep up the marvelous work, Ruth! Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "Thankyou for your comments, much appreciated I think I choose the actors to go on for the characters as it's portrait work that I enjoy most. I do create my own characters from scratch & obviously those are purely from my imagination. The challenge I enjoy is attempting to capture something of the person that is associated with the character however." | |

| 18 Jul 2006 | Fiery Wordess | I intend to marry Harry. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "Yes, well first you need to find a way to make a fictional character real " | |
| 23 Aug 2006 | Anonymous | I'm an aspiring artist and this picture actually gives me a lot of inspiration. I love the blue shading! Ruth Emma Latchford replies: "Thankyou & that's a huge compliment " | |
