FanArt: Melodies of LifeFINAL FANTASY IX!! Owh, how I love that game!! It's so beautiful!! The ending is so heartwarming!! When they defeted Necros, Zidane went back to help Kuja, but Kuja died, and Zidane stayed with him when the vines attacked them!
Then sometime later, everyone gathered at Alexandria Castle for the play by the Tantulas: 'I want to be your Canary'. You saw Cornelia and her love, a guy in robes and a hood. And I simply KNEW, i just KNEW that guy was Zidane. I can still remember his words:
'Owh dearest moon, please grand my only wish..'
Then he threw his robes off and raised his hands towards the balcony where Queen Garnet sat!
'BRING MY LOVELY DAGGER TO ME!!'
I wanted to scream that moment, but I had to hold back because it was over midnight! So I hissed at my brother: 'I knew it! I knew it was him!'
Then Garnet ran down the balcony, down the stairs, into the crowd towards the stage! Pushing and pulling to get through! Then, her necklace with the pendant was wripped off her neck. And the way she looked back and hesitated whether she would get it or not. But then with the face, and she turned around, away from the pendant, and that is the part where the tears came to my eyes. The way the ran further to the stage, the way the threw her crown off her head. The way Zidane threw his robes on the ground and they way Garnet threw herself in his arms. She punched Zidane on the chest twice, but he stroke her hair! I swear to God, this game is not just simply a game! I like this one better than FFX! It weren't just tears shedding, but it was totally crying! My left pyjama sleeve was soaking! Owh by the way, about the picture. These are the exact same words on the very end of the game. I didn't do this in Photoshop or anything. I did it in Microsoft Paint, with a little help of Power Point. I choose not to do it with blacklines, this way, the emotions are better expressed, at least, i find that myself. I can still here people say: 'Why crying? Why so emotional? Why thinking about it so much? It's just a GAME!'
And I can still hear myself answering: 'It's not just a game, But it's a one in a life time adventure!' Final Fantasy IX | |

My mum looked at me like: are you craaaazy? But I didn't care! I also almost cried! It was so beautiful! *sigh* Anyway, I really like this because you did it in paint! Wow! Paint...I so hate paint! I only use it for little thingies, not big pictures. It's really nice! Well done! *gets FFIX and starts playing the game again* | |

Sadly, *sniff* I lost all the discs except for the first one!! *sob* FF8, my olders bors lent out to their friends 2 YEARS AGO, so I cant play that either! I also lost FF5 and 6! I have 7, 10 and 10-2, but....I WANT FF9!!!! Whew...sorry about that. Had to let it out. anyway, GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT PIC!!! ^_^ | |
| 21 May 2006 | Beatrix | I loved the ending to that game, the way it tracked how Zidane had helped all of the characters - and then the classy play finale... But, it didn't make me cry - the biggest tear jerker to me was when Zidane goes off on his own and shuns his friends in the fights to "You're not alone". After I had done the fight I just burst into tears... ahhh. | |
