FanArt: Bellatrix Lestrange

Evil incarnate, that one... normally I like the villains, especially in Harry Potter, but she really makes my skin crawl. *shudders* As to the picture itself: an unusual style for me, rather anime-ish, but it's oddly fitting I think... This was a very quick sketch, but I really like that effect for this picture. Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Wacom Intuos2 tablet

26 Feb 2007	Rachel Day	Loading... Nicely done. Myself, I don't like any of the HP villains, but Bellatrix is an interesting character and definitely a good person to draw. She looks very evil and haunted here, especially with those huge dark eyes and the tense mouth. I also like all the blowing strands of hair. They add a lot of movement to the portrait.
