FanArt: Riku 01

Riku from "Kingdom Hearts". I started this as a distraction from the other art stuff I was working on only to have it devour around 30 hours of my life. But I can honestly say that I don't want those 30 hours back. I have learned much and it was fun damnit! ^_^

Reference from a Mens Fitness magazine was used for the pose and shading. Character design reference was taken from "Kingdom Hearts II" for the PS2. Image was made completely using Photoshop 6 and a Wacom Graphire 3 tablet.

Rachel Eve Lachance replies: "ya, i went more with the colour his hair looks in the game (maybe it's just my tv). true his hair does look more whiteish in the FMV scenes tho...oh well, he's staying this way now. "
