SciFi and Fantasy Art Deinonychus Duel by Ralph Anthony Attanasia

This is a picture from the classic 1980's televison series 'Dino Riders.' This depicts Heroic Dino Rider Yungstar on his Deinonychus mount, facing off against the evil Rulon warrior, Hammerhead, astride his Deinonychus, using a horrible brain-boxe to control it. In the foreground, the villainous Rulon, Antor, fires at, and is fired at by, an unseen Dino Rider. Also in foreground is the tail of an ankylosaur, and in the air, Serena on Quetzalcoatlus sends Rulon, Rasp, off of his pteranodon, and to his doom. Cool, no?

6 Feb 2002	Psycho Llama!	Loading... Gnarly! I like the differnt color schemes on the raptors, and how Rasp is heading for the mouth of that volcano. I only had a few of the Dinorider toys, but that definately reminds me of '80s cartoon and toy design.

7 Jun 2003	Peter Starlancer	Loading... I never saw anything more than 1 or 2 episodes of the "Dino Riders" Rental tape at the old "Bob's Video." I wonder if theres a website for this... I like how the "good-dino" dienonychus looks suprised.

17 Dec 2003	Mia	Loading... Wow! I had totally forgotten about those guys. Wasn´t there a ice age-variant of it too. (My brother owned one of those mammoths.) Great detail and coloring. I´d like to see more of this. By the way...LOVE your turtle-pictures.
