FanArt: In a Fallen Down Place

Queen from the RPG Suikoden III. If you've played the game, you know her to be very self-assured, not optimistic, but generally upbeat. Not the sort of mercenary who finds herself staring blankly across a noisy bar. But then, during the game, Geddoe's True Rune hasn't forced him to leave Harmonia.

Not yet anyway.

The exact nature of Geddoe and Queen's relationship is something I explore in my fanfic "The Light on the Waves." This picture was drawn to go along with that story. The title comes from a Natalie Merchant song called "The Living", which is one of my favorites.
