FanArt: Two friends as Utena characters

Oh, the wonderful world of commissioning. I had a couple approach me at ACen a few years ago. 'Can you draw us as Anthy and Utena, only he's going to be Utena, and put him in Miki's outfit?' Sure! I had some trouble getting references for this at the con, but I was sitting next to a hardcore Utena fan, so she helped me out and I accosted a Miki cosplayer and it was all good. Turns out the couple is good friends with one of my best friends. It's a very small world.

11 Jul 2006	Natasha Y. Booth	Loading... Actually, the sword originates within the body of Anthy. In this case the blonde woman whome the man (Utena) Is pulling the sword of Dios from. The woman is called the Rose Bride, and she is the keeper of the sword. It comes to her call by her current owner. The sword does not hurt her in the stages of removal. Great picture though the girls face does look somewhat scrunched, I love her hair. And the mans pose seems some how stiff. But its really great work. What did they think of the finished product?
