FanArt: Chun Li

Chun Li in a Chinese garden. Why, you ask? Because when my friends and I play Third Strike, Chun Li is the character I play. Also, I think every one of my male friends (maybe one exception) is in love with her, including my boyfriend. And she's really pretty. And I wanted another piece of fanart to add to my arsenal for convention season, though the only copy I've ever sold was to someone who couldn't tell who it was and didn't play fighting games. Anyway, it was an experiment, and I am very artistically pleased with it. I don't normally do backgrounds, so this was a nice stepping stone toward more complicated and awesome backgrounds. I used a few new Photoshop techniques for this piece, which is why the staircase looks a little funny and the perspective is a little odd. I learned a lot. I think this was a great piece for that, and my future pictures will owe something to it.

Man, I love dresses like that. And lanterns like that. And Chun Li is so awesome!
