FanArt: Hermione and Dal

Well, I am personally a fan of Ron and Hermione as a couple, but you know, not everybody is. Here we have an older Hermione (graduated from school) and a teacher, looking kind of flirtatiously at each other over a book. Which I think is probably the most romantic thing in the world, for Hermione. I tried something interesting with this style. Not entirely sure if it worked out. I modeled the man's facial structure a little bit after my dad, since my dad is a professor and professors are dorky people. The colors are ... interesting. Perhaps I shouldn't have made the background so brown. But it's a library! Libraries have wooden bookshelves and things!

Photoshop. A commission, kind of part of a set (see Sirius and Cayane elsewhere in the gallery). Dal is an original character, Hermione is from Harry Potter. Picture by a fanfic author named Joline.

The joy of inking the lines in Photoshop is that the commissioner can say 'no, no, he's much taller than that' and then you select his head and scoot it up about an inch, redraw his shoulders, and no one can ever tell.

He treats her bad, makes fun of her, thinks she's ugly (remember when he thought nobody would invite her to the ball, wanted to go to the ball with Fleur and invited Hermione as a last resource) and in The Half Blood Prince he becomes stupid... Nice picture!
