FanArt: Batman Beyond Concept

I just loved this series, but I was always perplexed at how a thin little spandex-looking suit could do all the things the new batsuit could. So I set to work creating my own 'realistic' version. In the end, I think it turned out a little too techy. It looks just a tad too much like a rubber suit that Warner Bros might use in a movie, which was the look I was trying to get away from in all my batman attempts. But you can see where his batarangs are stored at his wrists, and the launchers on the back of his hands. I also decided that his boot-rockets should be moved up to the back of his calves, and that's why they're all armored looking here. Oh, and I made the suit partially grey, to give it a bit more character, but I think my next attempt at this one will more closely resemble the suit from the show. Long live Terry McGinniss!

It is pretty scary and I think that was the whole idea that they had when they designed the suit. I think that since it would boost your strength and endurance I wouldn't care how small he was

I was very impressed when I first saw this drawing.
Months ago I was thinking about drawing a real world version of the Batman Beyond power suit but I never decided to start. I think your vision is very close to what it could actually look like.
One thing with the BB suit is that everything in it is suppose to be nano tech, wich means smaller but equally efficient versions of larger devices.
I theory all of this can be done. And in fact (If we had billions of dollars for funding and research lol) the suit could actually be build and perform all the functions portrayed in the animated series.
The technology exists I can assure you that.

If they were to make a live-action beyond movie, that should be the costume! I like it a lot, very realistic looking. Great job dude.
