FanArt: Lunchtime

This is a group portrait of characters from the Inuyasha series. From left to right: Shippou, Sango, Miroku and Inuyasha. The picture is being taken by Kagome, who is a girl from the future who has been transported 400 years into the past to feudal Japan to take part in their quest.

Shippou is in the middle of eating and has a lot of food stuffed in his cheeks. He has never seen a camera before and he's excited and pointing, and he's probably spewing chunks of his food out as he's saying something along the lines of "WHAT is THAT?!?!" LOL! I think Sango and Miroku have the right idea, but Miroku is about to get whacked upside the head in about 2 milliseconds! Inuyasha is just Inuyasha, inimpressed and full of attitude.

This was done for the Inuyasha Feudal Association's second round of awards and was given to the winner of "Best Group Depiction" in fan art. It was painted in Photoshop from a pencil drawing, and the background was done from scratch.

Awesome pic. I've always loved what you're able to do with these characters.

And on that note, aren't you one of Resmiranda's friends on LJ. The thought's been driving me *nuts* for a while now, so figured I may as well ask.

Once again, though, great job!

7 J. Oliver replies: "Thank you very much! I'm glad you like my version of the characters! It means a lot to me when I hear that. And yes, I know Resmiranda from LJ and DA - I'm banditqueen77 on LJ. Nice to meet you!"

5 J. Oliver replies: "It must look something like them or you wouldn't know who they're supposed to be. I'm glad you like it!"
