FanArt: The Bitter End

This image is of Sesshoumaru from the Inuyasha series. This description is a spoiler for the fan fic Tales from the House of the Moon by Resmiranda.

From the story:

"Kagome saw the hilt of a knife bloom from his chest. She could feel his youki revolt, unleashed, rearing up savagely as it fought the spell. For a moment he swayed where he stood. Blinked once, slowly, his eyes strangely far away"

Sesshoumaru receives the first sealing dagger from the evil miko. I had to control my emotions while I was colouring this! Poor Sesshoumaru!! ***Line art, Work-in-progress, Story.

It's so sad, but you really did capture the moment. I was wondering, can i save this to my favorite pictures?.(i'm asking first, elsewise it'd be rude)

12 J. Oliver replies: "That's fine with me, go right ahead. Thanks!"

6 J. Oliver replies: "haha! Okay! Sometimes people get freaked out by more realistic versions of anime characters."

You tried really hard i'm sure but you just don't capture the look of anime with the big eyes and thin lines

8 J. Oliver replies: "I don't try to draw in the anime style. I'm sure you must have noticed that. Your comment is really confusing, btw. It infers that I tried to give Sesshoumaru big eyes and make him look like the anime, which I didn't."
