FanArt: Vampire Hunter D (WIP)

This is a pic Im working on (WIP = work in progress)of Vampire Hunter D. He is hunting in the forest and has just come upon a clearing...an ambush...!? anyway, I have a wallscroll of D by Yoshitaka Amano hanging in my room, and that was the inspiration for this. Just as Amanos' characters have the classic japanese art style face/body, mine turned out like a classical greek/white style I think it works ;) Beofor I finish this I am going to redo the sword/hand (I am not happy with it) and would like his cloak to be covered with the shadows of leaves fromt he trees. when it is finished I will upload over this picture..wish me luck! :)

30 Mar 2004	azreal	Loading... despite the fact that you have an excellent skill with pencils, i won't forgive you for not finishing this image first before you had scanned it. you are excellent with positions and i must say that you so some pretty good shading, butyou need to bring a close to your images.... 1 Dec 2006	Lindsy G. Smigel	Loading... Immature comments not-withstanding, this pic is awesome, I love the detail and the pose. All my pictures feel like stick-figures in comparison! Although I have to agree, you really should finish it, because it rocks too much not to.
