This is a quick, slightly older sketch of my friend and college roommate, Jenn a.k.a. Leila, as a Sith lady...though she's really just a Sith assassin, I swear. She's using her powers of Sith windpipe-crushing (a.k.a. 'persuasion') to order people around for a cause that's very important to her. The sad thing is that I can actually see her do this in real life...

Heh, weeeell... I don't wanna brag but I *DO* have an extensive library of Star Wars books. On top of that, I tend to re-read a lot of books... If you want serious Jedi-action, buy the new Jedi Order-books by Stackpole. Better yet, mail me and ask questions... And by the way, the picture is GREAT! And Corran Horn *RULEZ*!Lucky. P I have a few; most I've gotten from the public library, and I'm pretty far behind, too...I'm finally on Rogue Squadron 5 and starting on Dark Force Rising. I'm going to read the NJO chronologically, meaning I read Vector Prime *shudder* (yes, I've heard the ending) first. But Stackpole ROCKS! Allston doesn't do as good a job as he did on the X-Wing books...and I might just take you up on your offer. Thanks! )
You *will* e-mail me... *blinks* Yes, sir. And you will check your inbox... ;o)

This is a very neat pic. The detail of the folds and lines on the robe is done so well. Is it based on Darth Maul's robe? I really like her pose too. I always thought shots of people holding lightsabers looked cool, whether they're switched on or off. What color is her lightsaber?Yep, it is--and I should've cited the artist whose pieces I used to do this picture of the robe. It's Cynthia Griffith. I'll add it to the description of the picture as well. Oh, and as for the lightsaber's color... I haven't thought that far ahead, since it was just a gag sketch. )

I like this woman, do you know where she is? *does the Jedi Mind trick thingy* You have never drawn one of our best spies.... *ends Jedi Mind trick thingy* LMAO well, I guess it's a little less than perfect, but I really like it, she looks like MY Roomates Girlfriend *wonders where all his food went*Does she really? Wow, I'll have to pass that on to her. )
You do realise that Star Wars is FICTION, yes? And for that first comment up there...Sith *DO* use the mind trick...Try reading Star Wars books, Austin...And for nit-picker hunk...Lay off the J.K. Dark Forces...that game's over. I think the picture is great and it closely resembles MY roommate. (And as a matter of fact for reference, Darth Maul uses the Mind Control affect in "Shadow Hunter" p.247) And for the lesser knoweledged SW fans..."A Guide To the Star Wars Universe" First, Second, Third, Fourth, AND Fifth Edition (Yes it exists.) Each run right around $16 at most Barnes and Noble™ Bookstores.LOL...I didn't realize so many people had roommates like this. ) But I don't mind people nitpicking me on details about the parts I didn't know about or forgot about. I'm glad you like, too. )
Nice sketch, I love the way her robes came out and she doesn't look like some evil sith person lady thing. (Darn school brain fried)Heh, it's okay, we're all getting burned out. Thanks...and I'm realizing that I haven't sketched Sith Leila at ALL since I did this. Hmmm...
