FanArt: DBZ: Raining Death

Well, if there's one thing I've learned from drawing and painting this picture, it's that next time I do draw a picture with black ink and then paint over it with watercolour, that I make DOUBLE sure that the ink is PERMINENT! >.< I made that very stupid mistake, the number one reason for it being so dark. When I added the watercolour, it just spread every where and got all dark! I was aiming for it to be on the dark side, but not this much! I ruiend it, I'm just glad I never really liked it in the first place. ^^; Oh, and it's Gohan and Videl in their early 20s, and Gohan's obviously DEAD, and Videl's holding him. And it's suposed to be raingin...but I lost that effect with the big black watery ink stuff too...-_- This also goes with a Fanfiction of mine. Hope you fined it at least some what good...

Yeah, I really had a good idea in minde for the pic, but it didn't come out quite the way that I'd hoped that it would. -_- But oh well, trial and error! ^^So I take it you don't know what DBZ DragonBall Z is?..Cool, I'm haveing people that don't even watch the show look at it! ^o^"
30 Jan 2005	Jesse	Loading... I love it... I mean its sad but I like th pic cuz I cant stop staring at it.... it makes me sad but its so captivating. Erin Colby replies: "Wow, thanks so much. Really helps make me feel more confident to do good work. ^^ Yeah, I also think that, despite it's errors, that it turned out to be a pretty good deep picture, but I still wish that it came out just even a smidg closer to what I originally wanted it to look like! >.< Then it would be even more dramatic and "captivateing" as you said. It would have kicked butt! ^^"

25 Sep 2005	Elizabeth	Loading... Now this I like. The expression in Videl's eyes, and the tears coming down her cheecks what a pitcure. I am not going to critize against this one. I really do like it. I read what everyone eles wrote to you about this one and I liked your responses to them. You knew you could do better, but you just coulden't get it they way you wanted it to be. But what I think of it, it has a great deal of emotion in it. And I really like the rain effect in it. Tell me how you got that scratchy rain look effect on it. I would really like to know it.
