i was always somehow fascinated by the beautiful faerie genesta in king's quest IV. last day i decided to do a hommage to her and draw her:)! i tried to remember the way she looked and last day, when i found a picture of her, i realized that the inside colours of her wings were the other way around *g*. also, the border of her wings wasn't bright pink, but grey (too bad the scan doesn't take UV colours:(, so the bright pink isn't showing...). i also forgot about her lil' flower crown *blush*... but all in all i'm happy with the way she looks:)!
this was also the first time i actually drew a frame. at first i wanted to do two of her little faerie helpers on each corner of the sheet, but when i started doing them they looked so dull and stupid and it just didn't suit the picture at all i felt, so i just cut the frame out;-). she's also got a light blue glitter dress on and the frame has green glitter. i'm really annoyed the scan does not show that all, because it's a really beautiful picture in real life i'd say!!! yeah, i'm proud of her:)!
coloured pencils, watercolours, several markers and glitter glue. (2006)

Yes, really beautiful, great pose, wonderful colours, frame makes it look nicely finished... good work, really good. What are those small things on the ground? Anyway, whatever they are, they look good;-) Stephanie S. K. Marbach replies: "hi hana i’m glad you like her!!! she means a lot to me!!! the colourful small things on the grounds are supposed to be flowers;-) in the game, the whole grass is covered with several coloured spots all over the meadows, it always fascinated me when i played the game...! thanks for your comment!"
