Really good pic. Hardly find one who will draw one of the not so famous chapters. Man, a guy that cool needs a gun preferibly the Plasma Cannon to see if anyone will make fun of his shoulder pad now. Just dont roll a one.

you need alot of improvement in the tones and line work.
the creativity is there, but there are lack of life in the image itself. Expression would comes from it's eye movement and the amour does not show hardness or reflection which could be done by shading too. From the look of it, there are less then 3 tones of shade in it. Please practise more.

You may have a point there, but then I have no formal training and have never been to art school. I never presented this as "profesional" work or made any claim about the quality of my work. Thank you for pointing those things out to me though and I will try not to disapoint you in the future. I would like to say that this pic is about 4 or 5 years old though. anyway thanks for the critique. Why be anonymous though?

This is my fourth comment, and I forgot something...
In all your pictures, I prefer you make you men "battle scared", like the way I paint my models. Chip his armor, give him a scar, singe his hair, dirty his armor... it looks like he came fresh from the acadamy, all clean and neat. The thing I hate about the way professionsals paint, is that they make thier models and painting neat and clean.

Personally it is the best space marine drawing i'v seen (apart from in the codex and white dwarfs, it defenatly looks pro!
