Tifa and Cloud belong together...Aeris's hearts belongs with Zack...who people seem to forget about a lot. Aeris and Cloud are more like brother and sister.

I wish I could play the game...But I have watched the movie and this is my view:
1. Aerith is dead.
2. She wears pink.(So she should be dead.)
3. She is annoying.
4. Aerith is dead.
5. Tifa can kick her tushy.
6. Did I mention she's dead.
7. She wears pink.
8. She's dead.
9. She loves Zack.
10. Cloud loves Tifa (and visa, versa).

Okay, so I'been reading a lot about it on websites and things. (I couldn't help it FF7, AC was so good. ^-^) Anyway, this is a scene from the movie. Cloud is looking around, finds Tifa, shot zooms in on her face and she does this cute flirty thing in a slow motion thing. (Do you see what's going on here?) Then, Cloud sees Aerith and Zack lock arms and walk out under the archway of the church.(Noteound a bit like someone exiting church after their wedding.) Anyway it's something like that. So as you can see Square Enix pretty much cleared the thing up for everyone including you Aerith fans. Get it she's dead, and besides, Cloud called her 'mother' which also clears the relationship they have.

just because there is some tifa haters in the world Square Enix would not ruin the whole thig between cloud and tifa,maybe they just made it blur and unspoken so to not offend you tifa haters

i dont like aeris your evil cloud sould be with tifa plus clud called aeris mother and who, execpt sic weirds, wants to go out with someone they think of as a mother plus Aeris loves Zack, remeber Zack people? see Aeris with Zack Tifa with cloud that way no ones left out

Well...one quick point to the argument is Tetsuya Nomura's comment on Aerith...."One day I called *someone's name I can't remember out of the top of my head* and said; Hey let's kill Aerith and bring Tifa out!" So, yeah, not even Nomura was happy with the pink-wearing lady. *covers eyes from such disgusting color* Also, Tifa's name follows the sequence between the hero's main lady, (like Rinoa, notice the 'i' and 'a'.) If you want the exact quote visit Wikipedia or something...And, yes, I'm that much of a nerd... ^_^

TN: It's funny, some magazine ran that story, but only the beginning and ending of it. People think that I wanted to kill off Aerith and replace her with Tifa as the main character! [Laughs] The actual conversation between Mr. Kitase and myself was very, very long. Originally, there were only going to be three characters in the entire game: Cloud, Barrett, and Aerith. Can you imagine that? And we knew even in the early concept stage that one character would have to die. But we only had three to choose from. I mean, Cloud's the main character, so you can't really kill him. And Barrett... well, that's maybe too obvious. But we had to pick between Aerith and Barrett. We debated this for a long time, but in the end decided to sacrifice Aerith.

In early planning stages of Final Fantasy VII, Aeris was to be one of only three protagonists. Before this, Yoshinori Kitase and Tetsuya Nomura decided that one character would have to die; and after creating the three characters, decided Aeris after a long debate. Nomura stated in a 2005 EGM interview: "Cloud's the main character, so you can't really kill him. And Barrett... [sic] well, that's maybe too obvious". This was not changed after other protagonists were created.[9] While designing Final Fantasy VII, Tetsuya Nomura was frustrated with the "perennial dramatic cliché" where the protagonist must dramatically sacrifice himself to express his love for someone. He found that this appeared in both films and video games from North America and Japan. "Is it right to set such an example to people?".[10] Director and scenario writer Yoshinori Kitase concludes:

In the real world things are very different. You just need to look around you. Nobody wants to die that way. People die of disease and accident. Death comes suddenly and there is no notion of good or bad. It leaves, not a dramatic feeling but great emptiness. When you lose someone you loved very much you feel this big empty space and think, 'If I had known this was coming I would have done things differently.' These are the feelings I wanted to arouse in the players with Aerith's death relatively early in the game. Feelings of reality and not Hollywood.

Exquisite! Cloud definitely deserves Aeris more. They are the better and true couple. Tifa, you’re nice and all, but you’re the one who needs to move on. Cloud doesnt love you as much as he loves aeris so find another man. Someone who’ll love you more than you’ll love him.
