FanArt: Beneath the starless sky, Morpheus of the EndlessWheee! Well, I suppose I've been putting this off for too long? I've been meaning to draw Morpheus, from Neil Gaiman's 'Sandman' series for a while, but I never got around to it. Dream, according to Ruby, from 'Brief Lives,' is 'cute as hell, but scary.' The outline of this sketch took place at about 3AM, after a large glass of Vanilla coke (I perfer cherry, though...). The rest were filled in later. The shading is a bit wrong, I think, but I don't want to change it (pretend there's a very soft second light source coming from the viewer's angle :) ) If the moon was the only light source, then there should be very little to no details (just a very dark outline). Ah well, Dream is too cute to draw just an outline. Umm...I was also testing out cloth (bah, those are buggers to do). I have no idea how that came out (I like it though XD). Well, here's one of my attepts at realism; my style's evolving again, i think :) | |
 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 22 Mar 2003 | Christine M. Clarke | Oh, yea... and I put pistachios in this batch of baklava 'cause the last one needed something... which, I think, turned out to be pistachios... and I put less cinnamon but more honey on this one... oh, yea. | |
| 22 Mar 2003 | Christine M. Clarke | I have that one song that goes, ".....you're aaaaaaa lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky son-of-a-gun!" stuck in my head, but I don't know how >_< I don't even know what it's called... just that its a super ooooold song... I think it might have been in the Econ video we watched on thursday, and that's where I got it from. Ghaaa, I still have leftover baklava from... from God knows how long ago I made it. Maybe I'll cook mesself up a pizza, and have that for dessert... yeaaaaaah. That sounds good. Wanna get your butt over here and eat some baklava? I need to get rid of it... | |
| 22 Mar 2003 | Christine M. Clarke | That's a helluh long title you've got there, you know that? Owell. Personally, I never really thought of him as all too cute... he's a little...... idunno. Besides, the whole thing about the star-thing in his eye just isn't cutting it for me. Owell. The best thing about those comics (and just about the only thing that I remember.... besides Odin, of course....) was when those angels started getting naked. Oh, yea. LOLOLOLOL Good Lord (I was going to say something else, but I just remembered that you hafta try to keep it clean in these comments... heh heh... oops -___- , I just realized that I haven't eaten anything but those stupid cup-o-noodles all day, and that I'm hungry...... you tend to do that when you're DYING OF A WEIRD JUNGLE DISEASE!! | |
| 26 May 2003 | Anonymous | DUDE! I love the Sandman books. The picture, well, I dunno, it leaves a bit to be desired, but if you keep plugging away, you'll be awesome soon enough. And Morpheus is hot! Anyone who says otherwise, I'm sorry. You're blind. Although, some artists don't make him look that great. Okay, I ammend my statement - depending on which artist (because they use half a BILLION, for crying out loud!), Morpheus may or may not be hot. | |
| 16 Nov 2004 | Critism | His face is too long, and he looks fat. and his hair is just like, all over the place. | |
| 7 Jan 2005 | Shadowless | Please refrain from drawing guys who are supposed to be hot, you just insult them. | |
