FanArt: Crows

I'm proud of this picture not because I think it's good (which I don't think it is), but because it's the first piece of art I ever did that's 100% digital. Beyond that, I'm proud of it MORE because I did it entirely with MSPaint. With a mouse. :-) Just goes to show that you don't need expensive art programs like Photoshop or Paintshop Pro or whatever to make semi-respectable art. You just need something that'll do in a pinch and a little patience sometimes(and boy...did I ever need it with this piece). This, of course, is the first Crow, Eric, with his cat Gabriel. Unsure who the female Crow is. This was a -highly- experimental piece. Maybe someday I'll get around to correcting the proportional/compositional flaws and painting the thing.

I think all the black adds depth and character to the piece and its good to see someone who isn't a photoshop whore around here.Its like these people draw something that looks like complete crap and then pretty it up in photoshop so it looks like colored crap.

Not about MS Paint- it does decent stuff if you know how to cell shade, but with a MOUSE!?!?!?!? gives you a big round of applause Congratulations, well earned! I wouldn't DREAM of tackling something that looks so complicated without a wacom tablet... GOOD JOB!
