FanArt: You want me to take ~this~ all the way to Mordor? This could be a long story, but to make it short; someone challanged my friend Amy to draw a goth Legolas, she wasn't able to draw him realistic without him looking gay, and I thought that it was an interesting challange. I was all proud of this piccy until a friend told me that my Legolas wasn't goth, he was punk. Sure Matt, just go and pop my bubble why don't ya? Anyway, so here's my ~punk~ Legolas and he's carrying Frodo (just in case you couldn't tell). | |
 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 18 Mar 2004 | Amy Smith | Mwahahaha! This totally kicks derriere. Love it. Heehee... He'd probably have the same disgusted, exasperated expression on his face if he looked at my version of him. Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "What are you talking about! If my goth Leggy saw your goth Leggy, he'd compliment him on his excellent style and well dyed hair. I love yours, he's so cute!" | |
| 31 Mar 2004 | Jen | Hehe this picture is way cute and I have to agree....he is more on the punk side, although if you worked on the face and made his outfit darker it could be goth Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "I don't know how to classify him anymore. Everyone seems to have a different opinion." | |
| 15 Jun 2004 | Ashley Cuomo | Umm.... This is odd kim... Very odd... But funny... In an odd sort of way.... but i agree that the socks are cool Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "Ummm... thanks Ashley. I think." | |
| 28 Aug 2004 | Tempa Spyder | cooool! whats 'goth'? one suggestion- raise one of Legolas's eyebows so that he looks like he's asking a question. Frodo is freaky, but it IS possible to make him cuter, right? Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "'Goth' stands for 'gothic' which is that vampire like style that some people really got into in the 90s. White foundation, black lip-stick, black hair, and black clothes. Obviously, I didn't quite meet that ideal with this picture which is why I can't decide whether my Leggy's goth or punk." | |
| 27 Dec 2004 | Anonymous | LOL, U rock. I think he's a goth individualist. I love the idea. frodo looks like such a munchkin butt! All the more reason to be rejected by legolas the goth. And I never noticed till now, but I slowly turned goth. I love the expression on his face and his pose. I have socks excactly like that. I wear them with A tattered black skirt. and his boots turn me on for some dumb reason. My hair is like that to. One last thing, Is his armsock fishnet or something else? [*giggles* got that too!] -you should try A version outlined and colored when you got the energy. Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "I'm considering investing in a light table, so I just might outline and color him. Oh, and I think that his arm sock is just fabric. " | |
| 31 Aug 2005 | Erin E. Johnston | *goes into a fit of laughter* That is too funny! My thanks for trying not to make my beloved elf look gay. It's happened too much around here. *shudders* I love the title, and Frodo is perfect! Rock on! Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "Thank you, and you're absolutely welcome! I'm tired of girly pictures of Legolas too. " | |
| 1 May 2007 | Jenni Tikkanen | I am a huge fan of Legolas, and I just love this pic. Really, even without the title people can say what this is all about.. Great..!^^ Kimberly A. Kluegel replies: "Thanks! I about died laughing when I drew Frodo and the look on Legolas’ face. People saw me giggling helplessly over my sketch book and thought that I was crazy." | |
