About the proportions: It's right, the legs are too long for a human. There is rule that length of head+torso = length of legs. A (human) body is about 8 heads tall and has,I think, 3 heads of width. But just think about it: You just draw it, and you liked it. What are these rules for? Its absolutely okay, it makes the elf looking like a kind of deer, child of the woods.
