FanArt: Two to Tango -- On Fire

This bears a lot of explanation, and the long version can be found Here. The long and short of it is, I like shipping Ultimate!Toad and Ultimate!Rogue together. I'm not sure why. Mostly it's because in that one scene, he was protective of her. Also, we do see glimpses of Toad being a fairly normal, likeable guy, for a terrorist (chatting with Scott on the phone). But even in ship-fics for these two, it would never work out, mostly because of the way Rogue is. So a tango seems an appropriate dance-- it's angry, full of passion and need. I had so much fun with this. It's probably the hardest I've worked on a pic in a long while. One of those things that your muse suddenly demands you draw and won't stop beating you until you do, I guess. I sure didn't intend for it to happen. Wow. Very nice colors indeed. Have to squee at the inking, too. Rogue's legs look slightly, er, big... Though, it doesn't look weird except at her right knee.

I have to confess, I thought it was Kitty first, because she has that kind of uniform in the normal comics, heh.

Even more, I really like Toad's face in this one. Or his head in general. I don't know why, but it's just awesome.
And the detail... the detail...

At first I thought "Rogue and Toad?!? Wha...?" but I went to your explanation, and I have to admit, it actually makes a bit of sense. Plus, while I don't altogether admire Ultimate Rogue (and I agree, her and Bobby is just meh) I love Ultimate Toad. I like Toad. That's something I thought I'd never say! Heh. But anyway, great picture. Rogue's right calf is just a little too large, but the emotion is great, and Toad looks hot! (Toad looks hot?!? Oh that crazy Ultimate universe!)

Does anyone know what Angelica is saying? Apparently to her, Rogue and Toad look like a vessel for containing and/or pouring lemonade.
