| 16 Oct 2002 | Lisa Coleman | What exactly is the European style? This drawing reminds me of Robert Crumb's stuff, with the rather pointillized shading. I agree the limbs aren't quite attached right, but it is, what, 14 years old? Besides, you could put some lines on it and call it a Macy's Parade balloon. C. 'razor sharp FAN blade' Clayton replies: "Well, I gree with you both about the limbs... I didn't really have a good idea of how they attached back when I drew this. I would do it differently now. The shading style is small "strokes" or lines rather than dots. Adding a different potetial for texture. To see it used by a master check out the french artist Moebius. As for the Crumb comparison, Thanx, ...I think (?)" | |

| 5 Apr 2004 | Anna 'Charlie' Magnusson | I love this show!! Me love it me love IT!!! Saw the last day on video!! Very kind of you to draw Leonardo but Raphael is still the best!! Keep it up Draw more Turtles!! C. 'razor sharp FAN blade' Clayton replies: "Thanx for stoping by... this was drawn (likely before you were born) and wasn't intended to be a specific member of the turtle team. Any of the turtles could after all use any weapon he wished to ...and no doubt do it with deadly efficiency. It seems unlikely that I would post another pic' of one of these guys... but you never know. I am glad you liked it. Many good things to you and yours, C" | |
| 12 Apr 2005 | The turtles child | Yo i love tmnt they rule my favourite turtles Raphael. whos your favourite turtle C. 'razor sharp FAN blade' Clayton replies: "If I actually do have a favorite I was unable to make that determination at the time of the reply. I just remember when they were geared towards adults and didn't have different colored outfits and initials. There is just something fun about martial arts weilding anthromorphs... If turtles had long limbs, could stand erect, eat pizza and study the writtings and works of the world's ancient masters I bet they would kick modo tookis.I guess any critter that could do all those things would endear favoritism from me." | |
