Feb. 2004 Third in a set of six pictures I drew for a specific collage, Dominance and Submission (which I'll upload at a later time.) This set is all done drawing them in a realistic style. Of course, it's unbelievably difficult to draw Xellos in a realistic style and not have him come out looking like an utter dork with that hairdo of his. >_> I think I managed all right.
This is one of my two favorites in the series. The other favorite is I Won't Be Denied, which is also up in the gallery.
I love their angles here. It seems as if Xellos has interrupted Filia in mid-sentence by teleporting directly into her personal space before she can even blink, and she's drawn back on sheer reflex, and hasn't even had time to register the surprise yet. Just a simple, gentle finger lightly touching her lips to bring her to silence. 'Hush.'

I really like the expressions, very well done, but his hands are a bit to skinny. a good picture really Suzanne M. Kraus replies: "Thank you. ^_^ Yeah... -_-;; Hands give me trouble a lot of times."
