The last stand
Of the final dance
Is the one written in blood

No one can hear you
No one will
Silent as you drown

But the sword will take it
As you break it
For the writing’s on the wall

And darkness closes
For you that chose this
Within your bitter heart

That cannot ride the wings
With blessed kings
But fall instead to fate

And in the dark
Where no one knows
The dead of ages wait

To rip you
To tear you
And bleed you
For they need you

In the silent dark
That lives within us all
Is where you are alone

I really love the last 2 stanzas on this, it seems really deep and I'm guessing it strikes a chord in everyone who reads it!

It is a good poem but (my opinion) is that it needs a stronger vocabulary.
