Okay, this tiny story is really nutty. We were doing a writing excercise in Writing Class where we had to pull objects out of a hat and write a story about them. I pulled out a black turtle, a wierd chinese statue thingy, and a pink necklace. Thus, this story. It doesn't have any magic or anything like that in it, but it could never really happen, so I guess it's fantasy. ^_^0

In a murky swamp, far away, among some rock and flowers, lived Black Turtle. He lived a peaceful life, except occasionally, there were dangers... WONK! A Chinese Emperor lifted his cane off of the smashed turtle. "Yummy." he thought. "Turtle soup." He picked up the smashed turtle. While he was walking home, he saw a beautiful pink necklace lying on the ground. He picked it up, and as he did, a giant Pink Turtle smashed Chinese Emperor to take revenge on Black Turtle.

Hey, why you no tell me you have writing nest up, hmm???? 2 We did a similar excercise at a writing camp I went to last summer, only everyone had to work the same 10 items into a story, in one of three styles: romance, fantasy, or horror. Fun stuff! Cool little story btw. ^^

Considering your luck of the draw, very nicely done.

I never go to Wyvern's Library because I'm too lazy to read the stories, but what a pleasant surprise this was! First of all, what a unique name for a story! "The Tragic Story of Black Turtle", that title sucked me in like an inebriated moth to a kaleidoscopic disco ball. Also, the story wasn't 20,000 words long! It was short, sweet, unique, original, and extremely funny! I'm proud of you for making such a good story! and I don't even know you! Hey! This comment is as long as your story!

This is funny! It reminds me of another story I read with similar humour that no one else really seemed to find funny. But I love this story! It's grand.
