Who's Frank? (Who cares. Skip down to the CAPS for the GOOD STUFF!.) Born Scott Morris and adopted as Scott Vollmer, Frank Creed decided two names wern't sufficently confusing and took on a pen name. In 1983, Frank Creed competed against hundreds of high school students at the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater's annual creative writing fcontest (using his street-name, Scott Vollmer). His sci-fi short story, The Last Newspaper, took first place. In 2006, Flashpoint was nominated for, and won the Elfie for best Science Fiction novel. The twenty-three years between served as the oven for an artist's soul. Two dead parents, divorce, finding salvation, blue-collar work, Church of Satan relative, head-on-collision with a documented healing, and marrying his editor are all jam in life's donut. ###### GOOD STUFF HERE-----> Want to see more Biblical fantasy, horror and sci-fi? I noticed in your bio you mentioned winning the UW Whitewater writing contest - I won 2nd place in the same category in 2004 (with my story 'Immortality', on my Elfwood page). What a coincidence!
I'm not very active on Elfwood these days, but I'm always excited to see Biblically-themed work from other Christian artists and writers. I will definitely be taking some time to read your work.
