When Alec heard the garage door opening, he knew she was soon going to be in his room soon. It thrilled him to know she would be there in his arms, with her warmth spreading to him. But when he heard the door creak open and listened to her more noticeable foot steps his heart skipped a beat. Panic surged through him in the seconds following. He felt that same hunger as before when he’d smelled the food, and now just realizing it had been there when the cat had come in too.
Alec stiffened in his chair, gripped the chair tightly, hoping she would be observant, like usual, and understand.
She barely saved herself when she took a step back right before she would have been able to look at him in the chair, from the side. It took all of Alec’s will to just wait for her to come, then back off. He didn’t breathe at all. He felt his heart beat in his chest, slowing itself down more than humanly safe.
Alec didn’t notice his heart beat, instead his subconsciously followed her every move by ear. She cautiously had backed up enough that she stood at the foot of his bed, which was right behind the chair he was in. She didn’t go any farther back, brave as she was, instead she threw her body onto the bed, with her feet by his pillows and her head and shoulders over the side, laid out on the back of his chair.
She flung her arms around his shoulders, then kissed the top of his hair in a few swift motions. Her actions had caught Alec off guard and had given him no time to prepare. Her smell wrapped around his nostrils in seconds, the light wisps of her hair that flew through the air and landed on his shoulders and neck tickled his skin. Her very being intoxicated him with lust, passion - most of all hunger beyond the normal sexual tension.
Alec had to think quickly before he let his body go through the instinctual motions he felt coming on. This was her, the one he loved. He couldn’t let anything happen to her. So instead of giving in to the primal hunger, he tried his best to stay where he was. But it couldn’t be helped when a hiss escaped his lips. At that, Alec knew she would be lost to him forever.
But she took him by surprise. Instead of moving away, she just clutched to him for a moment, smushing him to the chair’s back. Then she again did the unexpected, and gracefully like a cat, she somersaulted into his lap from the bed. The landing was a little hard and she bounced in his lap, but he catch her in a second and held her to his chest, tight and squeezing her.
She returned the hug as best she could with her arms locked into her sides at awkward positions. When he released her enough so she could move, the girl brought herself up to his face, then lightly pressed her lips to Alec’s. She had meant to pull away quickly, but Alec swiftly put a hand to her cheek and another in her hair, locking her head and lips with his. The soft, long kiss was her favorite. It would be her last pleasure for the night.
