Kay, so I graduated in 2007 with a dual-degree in biology and chemistry (can you say 'nerd'?) Now I'm trying to climb that Ph.D mountain. It's a steep one. ^_^

My stories. What should I say about them? I'm always looking for places to improve so go ahead and point out things that would help me there!

Right... well... those of you who've been to my shelf before and are bothering to read this will notice that Of Magic and Wings is gone. But wait! It's returning a little at a time! It is now called New Life from Ashes. I'm hoping there are some vast improvements. Same story-line but hopefully a whole lot less 'telling'! Let me know what you think!

I know my favorites is suppose to do this but... I don't care!

Scott Morris is an amazing writer with dead-on humor and convictions of iron. Flashpoint quickly became one of my favorites!

Federico Diaz writes emotion and atmosphere like nobody's business. Go offer constructive criticism on his work. NOW!

Yo! I so like seeing old friends meet up. Talking about old friends, are we going to see Baldric again? I miss him.

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "I know! Isn’t it great? Yeah... about Baldric... he has flat out refused to appear unless I (and I quote) "stop writing such mindless swill that doesn’t make [him] sound like a weak and whining furball!" So until he forgives me, I’m going to have to say it’ll be awhile. 1"

Yeah I hope he forgives you soon. Be sure to give him a hug from me if you can do it without getting clawed.

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Ha ha ha. Hugs aren’t a problem. He’s a big softy. Thanks for the devotion, Heidi. It means a lot to both of us. I think that alone may bring him around soon ^_~ I’ll try, but alas, no promises, my friend."

I will probably be dead of exammage the next two-three days, my computer’s developed epilepsy and I’m due on a dig soonish but! I leave pawprints here, many pawprints, because I know I want to read more of yours and you are on my Less Sinister List. [stomps about the entire clearing with her shoes off until she’s satisfied] Just let me know if there’s anything in particular hat’s lonely/in want of feedback, for Constructive Crit. is What I Do. [sniz] and I seem to have come down with the Random Captials.

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "I totally hear the death by exammage. Grrr. I’m sure you’ll be brilliant though. I am a little curious about this ’dig’ you mentioned. Like an excavation? I’m also a little curious about this Less Sinister List ^_^

As far as what to read... well it’s longer, but the Terra Incognita three-parter hasn’t seen much ’action’. I guess. You may like it... I went to your page... have I really never read any of your stuff? How ’bout some direction for me there as well? Anything you want my spin on?"
    15 May 2008:-) Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster
[has finished exam and trying to forget about it] Ach, I’m smart, not academic. The worst under-achiever in the higher class, you know? Yes, I’m an archaeologist. [waves mattock happily] We’re strange creatures. It’s the dicipline with the highest rate of committal to asylums of founding fathers, I put this down to having to be a bit weird to get excited over little bits of really old pots. I’m a bone geek myself, though. They’re so pretty...ah. [holds up two lists] Sinister List and To Read list.

Nono, you read Double-Soul-Cross, this is how I found you again - you left me a nice useful comment then another apologising for being useful, I was mildly bemused...read only what you want to read, I implore you, and don’t feel obliged. [will recommend if pressed, but only if reassured repatedly that it’s real interest rather than politeness, because she’s not polite like that herself]

Well, I want to thank you again, for I just finished about 2-3 hours of overhauling that Cedar Vale story. It is now 2 pages longer.... yikes... but I think it is much better now as it has only three points of view, as you suggested, it acctually flows much nicer now I think. I just needed a nudge in the right direction =) Anywho, I just have to proof it now, and it may be submitted tonight yet, along with that second chapter of Adventurers. So thanks again for getting me get moving and do something.

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "My pleasure of course, Jacob. Let me know when they go through and I’ll swing by and give a read-through! ^_^"
    20 May 2008:-) Jacob Bowdin
So... was in the area (took a wrong turn at Albuquerque… how I got there from Wisconsin, no idea) and decided I would drop by and do some reading, however, after staring upwards at the towering wall of literature you have put up, I figure my plan is best executed by asking you where a good starting point may be? Other than the one I read already of course =) I’ll be around... somewhere... not alleviating my job’s boredom by browsing elfwood, who said that? :: looks around ::

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Will post reply on your main page, because it’s kinda long. (Go figure!) ^_^ Cheers!"

:: sneaks back in, in a very sneakish manner ::

Ummm... so, I am sorry, because I lied, and this in fact is my last comment for the time being. But you did say to keep you appraised as to the status of Adventurers, so, this is me keeping you appraised of the fact that the second ’episode’ has just been put through and is now sitting on my self alongside the redone Cedar Vale... I’ll be going now

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Ooooh, I’m really excited. I’ll swing by and take a look at both as soon as possible. It may take a while because my internet at home is sorta on the fritz and at work... well I can only steal a few minutes here and there. Cheers! Thanks for letting me know!"

’Ello! So, this is me making good of my intentions to finally get over here and read some more of your stories. I’m just going to go and pick one of the titles that caught my eye, but if you want to point me in a specific direction, I’ll head that way next time...

Edit: Amazingly I just noticed my last comment was on the very same date two months ago, yikes...

:-) Mandy E. Burnham replies: "*cues Twilight Zone theme*sings annoyingly along* Doodoodoodoo Doodoodoodoo... *laughs at self for being a loser*

Right, back to the comment at hand! I’m flattered that you return at all. *bows* Thank you for that. I hope you enjoy what you end up reading. I love them all, so it’s difficult for me to play favorites. ^_^"
