*shouting over the noise of the fairies* Hello flute player, nice to hear your wonderful tuene againHello Karl, it's good to have you in the audience again, can't you have a word with those noisy fairies? I can't hear my own music!

QUESTION:WHERE ARE THE FAERIES?

a) she is not a good flute player could be
b)there are no faeries in that forest I'm sure there are!
c)the faeries in the forest are deaf They make a lot of noise (says Karl)
d)or she has just began to play for a couple of minutes and the faeries are on their way I think that's happening here!

(BEAUTIFUL PAINTING BY THE WAY) Thank you Bas.

So that's why Wilgenroosje, Ereprijs and Wederik (my own Faeries) kept nagging me to visit this lovely pic. The flute player lured them. Hmm now that I'm here, i don't wanna leave. ^^ But the faeries can stay here for a while, I suppose she just wants them around, eh? Not catch them or something. You never know what devious eyes are hidden under the hat... No, she will never hurt your sweet faeries! They are welcome! 2 o well, just take the risk cos I'll be out for the weekend, going to visit some friends in Friesland... Love again the use between bright colors and dark... *claps enthusiastically*Thank you so much, I wish you a marvellous weekend in Friesland, Jorieke! 2

Just stopping by for my usual dose of Anneke.... I've been all over Elfwood these past couple of days, admiring the many, many, many awesomes artists on this site. Oke-doke, back to the picture..... I've never noticed how utterly beautiful this picture is.... I guess it goes to show that sometimes, you have to see something more than once to truely appreciate it's beauty.Hello William, what a nice surprise to see you here! 2 I agree with you, in every days life people pass very often beautiful things without noticing them. That's one of the benefits you get from going on vacation. Once you are back you see your old stuff with new eyes and appreciate them much more. 2This painting hangs on my mother's wall. I can see it every time I visit her, she also likes it very much. 2

That's so cute. it kind of reminds me of Shirly Barber's fairy pictures, I can see them popping up 'bout the place behind her. It's a sweet picture. And well coloured too.Thank you for the info and the sweet words, Sasanki. I will see if I can find the Shirly Barber pictures on Internet, I'm curious. 2

She reminds me of me. I used to sing in the woods behind my house asking the fairies to come when i was 6 or 7. The outfit is very cute. I love it.I hope that child is still in you. Cherish it, it's wonderful to have your imagination. It's beautiful to sing for the fairies, it makes them very happy. 2

Wow! Pretty! *stares* But I think that's some kind of unknown recorder because you play a flute sideways.Yeah, I guess that can only happen in our fantasy world! LOL Just kidding, they have told me before and I think you're right! Look at John Teall's comment on this picture on January 13th. 2

This one's really adorable.. wonder that I never saw it before..! isn't such a thing called a recorder though? flute=dwarsfluit or is that a difference between americans and English? NEway.. love the yeloows.. can almost hear the flute sing!Looking at the commentors above I think 'recorder' wins. I don't mind too much I call it a flute, but I've always been stubborn. LOL Thanks for stopping by Meike, really great to see you. 1
