| 20 May 2001 | Dani | im very impressed with the quality in this picture, and i love how you tweaked it to make it custom. i dont believe i could do better myself =) I'm not quite sure what you mean about tweaking it to make it custom, but thanks for commenting! | |
| 14 Aug 2001 | Erin M. Schmidt | I love those wings . . . I can't imagine putting that much detail into wings and still getting them to look so incredibly real. The feathers on the head and neck are excellent as well, but what I really like about this image is the sense of movement I get from it. Even though the griffin isn't really doing anything except standing around, the position of the wings, legs and head makes it look as though it's ABOUT to move. Some things you might do to improve this pic could be putting more detail into the non-avian portions of the griffin; the wings and head are so intricately detailed that they make an odd contrast to the flat limbs and body. Some study of quadruped musculature would also help you attach the wings to the shoulders more realistically. Thanks so much for the great comment! Very useful CC, just what I needed, thank you. | |
| 21 Feb 2003 | Anna Skult | Very dark and mysterious, I like it =) So much detail, and yet so dark... I like the wings, and the little I can see of the head. The ground looks great, real cold like on the tundra. Great pic! | |

| 23 Jan 2007 | Lucy Kucharik | !!THATS AMAZING!! I love the detail on the feathers, the tail is really cool too! Yea i agree the pose is great, i usually just draw things just standing there. The only thing is the top bit of the wing is a bit short, but you don't notice that because the pic is so good! keep it up! | |
