My favorite writers are Steven King, Tolkien, Stephen R Donaldson and HP Lovecraft. My favorite artists are Georgio Di Chirico (Surrealist) and Mark Ryden. I don't have an art background but I am trying to learn. I use Bryce 5.0, Poser 4.X, Caligari Truespace 6.5, Artmatic Pro, Lightwave 8.0 and Photoshop 6.0. If it seems like there is a lot of time between updates, its because I like to experiment with non Sci Fi or Fantasy topics, mostly Surrealism and Minimalism. My private galleries also have these pictures in their normal sizes.

I always appreciate 3D graphics, they are so awesome. And hard to do as well... I like most of the ideas, like the wraith cube.

...so i'm lookin' at your funky style, ok so it's only funky 'cause i don't do stuff like it, but, anyway, since you liked the holder of the galaxy so much, i wondered if you might try to do something like that with your 3D stuff. i think it'd be really cool! ^^

Thanks for your kind words in my gallery. Yours is certainly interesting! Got a very surrealistic feeling to it.

I have to recommend the program Blender. It’s completely free and it has room for your skill to grow in. You should try at least one tutorial with it before turning it down.

:-) Aaron Weaver replies: "I don’t like when people advertise their apps and infer that what I am using is limiting me but I will check out blender and see what its about. Its just another 3d tool.

My problems are not really tool based, so any/all of my tools will get me there. Maybe I should post what I use but then whats the point? If I stink at composition/color theory/eye leading, Maya/Blender/Softimage/Nendo/3ds studio Max/Lightwave/Bryce/Vue will not help me. Better tools will not help if the problem is in my head. Also I have ideas on how to do things too. If you have the skills on how to make great pictures, the tools are almost irrelevant."
