SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Key

Not much to this, mostly working on my shadows,and adding in where elements seemed to be needed. This one turned out with a rather melancholy sexuality to it. The contrasts and mood make it a favorite of mine. Meant to be symbolic, you can interpret it how you like, since I never figured out what it's supposed to be symbolic of...

The "key" is actually symboling housewife. In the old days the house key was given to the wife as a symbol of that she was the master of the house.

I think it's interesting that she has the key herself, since I see it as a key to a chastity belt. Could be many speculations bout that, and it's definitely a perfect add to the picture, giving it even more mystique. And I completely love her expression, and your shading technique.

This is really unique! Her hair in particular is stunning...I havn't really formed and idea as to what she is trying to say...I'll bookmark it and come back because it's screaming at me!
