SciFi and Fantasy Art: Enter My Mind

She as orange eyes because she's half gold dragon. Her other half? Vampire. It's a long story as to how that happened and this desc is already long. I'll explain it later. Maybe. Maybe if someone comments about it I'll share. This was another old drawing I did several years ago that I decided to color. You see, I'm trying to focus more on coloring instead of drawing lately because a. I don't have time and space to draw, and b. I need to work on coloring. So I do realize that if she were really in that position, she'd fall. I wanted to see what the drawing would look like if I just didn't bother inking or dealing with the grainy lines, so I left them there and colored her using another layer in the Multiply mode. Media: Pencil on computer paper, colored using low opacity paintbrush on Paint Shop Pro 7 and using the smudge/blur tools. Then layered on Normal mode and air brushed on low opacity, then smudged with smudge tool. The title was based on yet another song that I listened to when I created Aramina and when I did this drawing. Aramina is © Colleen Chitty
