SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragonslayer

this is possibly the most cliched painting ive ever done, but having painted hundreds of dragons, and recntly not liking any of them, i decided to do a really feirce one guarding some treasure, it always suprises me in rpg illustrations that a guy would face a dragon with a sword,. i was thinking of having two little hobbits with a canon slinking in the shadows behind the warrior but hey. this pic took two hard long days to complete, honeslty, cause i want to put this in a new pamphlete im making. and those are my arms in the pic.p

24 Dec 2004	Anonymous	Loading... The pic is absolutely awesome. That guy with the first comment was just being stupid. One thing though. what happened to the dragons other wing. The one away from the POV. There is no sign, reflection, shadow, shading or anything to show that its there at all.Not even a little bit of wing tip or "elbow" showing.

It's a cool pic... except: - There seems to be a wing missing... unless it's the blob that looks like it's part of the background, then you should add detail to it. -The sword doesn't look right at all. It look like the handle is severely bent, because it isn't on the same angle as the blade. The blade seems to be straight, flat against us, but the handle points more towards the backround. Other than that... as I said... it's a cool pic... I like the detail =)

12 Nov 2006	Marie	Loading... I must admit them arms ar darn sexy. i love the dragon. There is so much detail in this and it must have been i pain. But at least the dragon looks good. I suppose your off the hook. Just this once.
