SciFi and Fantasy Art: Head on a stick

[snorts and chuckles uncontrollably] Ahem...Please let me note that I'm thinking of self-made thoughts, before you think that I'm being rude by laughing at your picture. My thought was... it would be interesting to go to an ogrish festival where instead of serving sausage on a stick, or fish/chicken/beef/whatever it one would normally eat from a stick... the ogres' instead have such things as.. [looks at above picture] I think that I'll have to illustrate something of just that sort now. Thanks so much for the idea. [still chuckling] Okay.. in all seriousness now, if you're interested... try paying attention to where your light source is coming from... shadows seem to come much easier to me when I keep that in mind.. and, well, of course you need practice. But you did mention on your bio that you planned on remaining amateur. I think, however it would take less work than you may believe, to improve your skills ten-fold. Thanks for listening to me rant.
