SciFi and Fantasy Art: Death Rides for a King

An old picture I did about 8 years ago in high school. However uncomical, the image was inspired by Terry Pratchet's whimsical writing in the Disc World novels. In the stories, DEATH uses a scythe for commoners and a sword for kings. This image was originally done in oil chalk. I didn't like the lack of detail and so did it again in pencil, the lines hardened in ink. It took a long time to get the 'expression' onto the skull face of Death correctly.
