| 20 Nov 2000 | John T. Baldwin | Check out the background. That took a lot of time I bet. Your anatomy is slightly off, that butt really sticks out almost unnaturally. The rest is alright. I like the smooth line work, and the shading. Great job on both... | |
| 12 Jan 2001 | Lizzard E. Shara | The background distracts from what should be the focus - the woman. As the previous commenter said that proportions are a bit off, but what I find to be a little more off is the shading - and that can be fixed! Get this picture out again and get a softer pencil (about a 3B if you can) Now, see where the leg is bent? You have the shading running DOWN the leg towards the knee. Always have the shading going AROUND a curved object. So, lightly (start very lightly) go over it again keeping in mind that to get a 3d effect from a basically clyindrical object with one light souce you need either |dark light dark| or
light dark light| Get what I mean? I have some drawing lessons up at http://www.leasoft.com.au/dragons-home/drawing/index.html if you are interested | |
