| 7 Apr 2001 | Anon. | no one commented yet? MMM I just have to say it's great. But I would put more eye make up on her. The egyptions that lived close to the nile, encountered annual flooding that unfortunatly spead water born diseases...like pink eye. Those who worshipped the god in your pic, would have carved her with the anti-biotic eyeliner thaT ANCIENT egyptions were famous for. Yes it took 3 weeks just to make the make up. Good stuf...and men were not considered freaks for wearing it like here in the US hehe Will Norris Thanks for the info! and for commenting of course! | |
| 12 Apr 2001 | Jennifer Alice Peters | Alrighty I'll comment *smiles* I really like the way you made her look so elegant like you have, I've always had a fondness for egyptian style art and I really like this, her feathered crown is unique and gives her a royal look, and the way shes pooring the water looks very natural and just well neat Thanks a lot! I was trying to go for the royal look and you probably cant see it but she is standing on the water that she is pouring... I had to darken this picture a great deal in PSP because it was only in pencil... THanks for commenting! | |
| 1 Aug 2001 | Kitty | Oh...oh my...i love the feathers so much! I just want to reach out and keep my hand away from them because Anuket probably wouldn't like that, would she? And the water is also lovely. Not to mention the lower half of her body...my mom draws horses a lot so i can appreciate good equine work. She looks very regal, i love it! | |
| 12 Oct 2002 | Anonymous | You should really go to http://students.resa.net/stoutcomputerclass/cpEgypt.htm to really find out about drawing ancient Egiptians. I think it's #8 HOW TO DARW ANCIENT EGYPTIONS. There are steps you can follow to draw in ancient Egyptian style. Oh by the way your picture is great! Even fantastic! But you still should try the steps because I'm no artist but it might make it look more ancient Egyptiany! Thanx! | |
| 8 Mar 2003 | Artemis Sinclair | I like the idea of the pic, but I have been drawing for years and I should like to say that the bottom is a tad small, the top a tad big. Go into detail if it isn't against your style. If it is, use shades. Like, shadows. You're getting there! | |
