I do love this one. It just... feels good. (And I like the other version, too.) Such a power around it, that calm and peaceful water-like sparkle and the planet... It is good, says I.

I have been staring at this picture for a long time. What is that background Jenni? I'm so curious! What did you do in Photoshop to get that craquelé effect? I think it's typical you again, to match all media. I really like how you made the figure in the beautiful aqua colour.

yes, not many words can i say about this one. i find it hard to say anything about a piece in wich i can see no flaw. as Orin put it "it just... feels good." and i realy cant argue with that.

There are other traditions besides the greko-roman mythose the currently dominant culture claims its decent from. mars as conflict comes from that 'western' rhyzome only.
other's have looked up and seen a cheery fire in a cold night's sky. a shark is a simple creature. preditory yes, but ancient and primative as well.
and arround the fires in anciet camps the first stories were told. of legends who'se flesh has long been vieled by the mysts of time.
i do not know what stories first were told, when looking up and gazing at a distant red planet, a planet who'se desert sands my hide mysteries we have yet to behold ... /\

I know my opinion won't be as needed as the "Elfwood Artists" But I think it is GREAT. I know that took a long time and it is perfect.
