SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ophidian Serpant Warrior

I drew this out with pencil really quickly. Its based on a monster in Ultima Online, which is an ophidian ( = snake + human). I didn't intend to make the shading too bold, but apparently that seems to be the main feature. I'll try to get more monsters out.... maybe a terathan? hrmm....

17 Nov 2002	Warduh	Loading... Nice one. Too bad they got the Ophidians completely wrong in Ultima Online... see, the Ultima Ophidians were -human-, with a strong connection to serpents. They "worshipped" the Serpents of Order, Chaos and Balance. The followers of Chaos created the Nagas, which are the creatures the UO team corrupted into Ophidians in UO. Just a bit of a history lesson. Janel 'XanVger' Jolly replies: "Janel: lol, well UO tended to corrupt a lot of animals and beasts... so glad i left it. Naga is what i'll call it from now on, did a huge picture all marvel style, but its too big to scan. Thanks for the history lesson "

Right now I play on a private roleplaying shard called Ultima Legacy. They get things -right- there.
