SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sword Sorceress

When my grandfather died, I went to Toronto, which was where the funeral was. I tried drawing to relax myself and wasn't that successful, but I did bring home this picture which i am proud of. It was suppose to be another character sketch of XanVger but ended up being something rather different... To me, she seems magical and powerful, watching over her minions with a smile and a confidence. Yet, is she good or evil? And yes, I know that one foot is just floating there... doesn't look right, but couldn't get something beneath it. Curse ye foot! *shakes fist*

Boyle	Loading... very good picture cool pose but I think the lower legs are lacking definition.She has no ankles or calf muscles.You might want to consider an anatomy book for artists.It will really help you do more realistic characters.Great picture regardless,keep up the great work!! Janel 'XanVger' Jolly replies: "Janel: Surprisingly I did use an anatomy book, and i'm not normally that ad at calves but I can never get those darn ankles. Maybe i should redraw this picture and define the legs more. Thanks for the honest input!"
