SciFi and Fantasy Art: Aerial Battle

Cil and I decided to create another compilation. It took not very long at all to decide on her character Kimaris battling my character Bihayls. Done once again in open canvas and no, my character isn't as screwed as she looks! She'll whoop arse!

Yay! *does the Traditional Elfwoodian First Comment Jig*

This is great! Both characters look appropriately ferocious for a battle. The mid-flight poses are very...weightless-looking. Sorry, I couldn't come up with a better word. And here I stole the First Comment from someone else, who probably would've been more eloquent! ;o) Anyway, you and your friend Cil did an excellent job on this piece!

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "And we had tons of fun doing it too. Eventually I will figure out how to place names up upon the board in my bio and please, make sure to come back and visit her site. It is excellent."

This is really great! It looks like the sort of good vs. evil thing, just that neither seem to be especially good. I don't know wich is better. The black one's got cool hair and the blue/green a manic helmet. The background adds to the atmosphere.

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "I agree full heartedly. And yes, it does kind of seem like a battle between good and evil. My friend and I had a wonderful time working on this and I feel out of all of our works together, this one will always be my favorite. *smiles*"

I thought "Hey, this looks like one of my white Magic the Gathering cards" until I kept scrolling down and look at those feet! That's awesome!

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "This was one of my favorite pictures that I ever did with my friend Cil. We were trying to give it that feel, for being on a playing card or an illustration in a book."

Hey. Which one is your character?

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "The one in the lower right. The name is Bihayls and I have a black and white composition of her as well. Somewhere... *searches*"

Wow your art is really good, I was surprised you don't have any mod choices in here. Gosh its soo good too.

:-) Laura Beth Katt replies: "Oh, thank you so much. Really. And, turst me, I'm working on a few pieces I hope will blow the mods away so I can get a mods choice too."
