SciFi and Fantasy Art: Summon of StormsSugan Imshee'Cro of the Wind Riders, a paladin who struggles with her own fire and summons mercy for those she loves. Her sword, a constant ward against the undead and supernaturally light one-handed sword. Losing touch with Elishiak the Storm goddess, Sugan's search for wisdom leads her to an ancient oracle in the mountains. (Sugan was scanned and colored in Photoshop, her sword was created in Illustrator and then colored in Photoshop. Tim Dahlia did the landscape completely in 3D Studio Max, and the sky is composited LEGAL clipart photographs.)

thx for brightening my day!
| 6 Aug 2002 | Mitchell Colbert, Eq fanatic | Another wonderful pic Kami, very well colored and textured. I play EQ as well ( if the name of the poster didnt give it away =P) on Veeshan though, a good server but sometimes i think of going to a different one...bah whatever, please keep the great art work coming, yer one of my favorite artists on this site | |
| 23 Aug 2002 | Albert J. England | I remember seeing this in the EQVault fanart section...and it still knocks my socks off. What a great picture. | |
| 27 Feb 2003 | Agnes Blomberg | Please let me know how you got that rock so realistic! You're very talented, I really like your work! If I would critizise something in your work, I guess it would be proportions, but I won't do that, 'casue it doesn't really bother me. Great work and style...Go you! | |
| 28 Feb 2003 | Tim Dahlia | Actually, the rock was easy. I just shaped multiple random objects in 3DS MAX,choose one, then textured it. Though I can't remember what I used to texture the rock. I guess just another random rock texture. Merging the 3D with the drawing though, that was tough. I actually resorted to creating pencil outlines on the 3D to match the drawing. As for the proportions, I've said it before. The sword is purposefully HUGE. | |
| 17 Apr 2003 | Aila Kantoluoto | I'm not usually a big fan of computer colored stuff, but this really rocks. I don't know if it's the talented coloring itself or the whole picture... But I love it. Her face is, in lack of a better word, beautiful. The whole thing's kinda heavy on the right edge though... Or is it just me? Maybe it's the lightning. Great work anyhow. | |
| 12 Jun 2003 | Anonymous | I think it is cool to have a chick hold a sword, and the look on her face, it seems as though she has alot of responsibility on her shoulders. | |
| 18 Jun 2003 | Anonymous | I love your work and I was wondering if you could make me a picture of my Wood Elf Ranger. If you can, please talk to me about it. My e-mail adress is jmitch315@yahoo.com | |
| 30 Jun 2003 | Allison 'AllieKat' Westfall | Very good! I love the armor and the sword. The look on her face made me think... how to put it... that she's so young and has so much responsibility to bear. The background seems to reflect inner turmoil. I wish I could do something this good! I play on EQ as well. Keshara Ashke'vron, 65th enchantress, Xegony. | |
| 1 Jan 2007 | Josiah Weaver (THE J of Dawg) | I have nothing to say except that it is by far the most beautiful picture I've seen thus far. | |
