SciFi and Fantasy Art: Pagan Rites

Feb. 2003 Decided I was inept at both using colored pencils and at drawing human bodies, I opted for the obvious: A body study in colored pencil. It's really just a sketch, but I like the effect, overall, and learned a good bit about anatomy from this Pagan woman, and elf (though you can't see her ears, heh), dedicated to her Dieties. (Ahh, yes, another mostly-naked-ridicuously-perfect-bodied girl joins Elfwood.) Paper is 17'x22', I had to seam this together in Paint Shop it all wouldn't fit on my scanner. Heh.

The only constructive bit of criticism i can muster, is that the bottom half of her body is a bit short in comparison to the top, Maybe if her legs were longer between the knee and ankle? Its great though. Love her hair, and the light and shade. ZUPA! Karen 'Kat' Smith replies: "Heh, thanks ^.^ I had noticed the legs (actually, the calf area) being to short, and also part of her feet are cut off (the toes and a little more) which makes her legs look shorter. Oh well. Thanks for the comment!"
