| 27 Oct 2000 | Anon. | Hey, it's Fiona from the next page over to your left. Yea. I haven't been drawing very long, so this advice may or may not be of any use but... you could try making the gold darker, using the current shade for a shine on its surface. And, if the blade's meant to be crystalline, you might try a bit of icy-blue shine in there too. Hope this will help. *Great* sword! I would surrender if *I* was at the tip of *that* weapon. Heh-heh. Keep up the good work. | |
| 2 Jul 2002 | Lohok | Maybe give it a hint of an inner glow or something? It has really nice shape. | |
| 24 Jul 2002 | Rowan Germain Altriks | Dude you stole that sword from diablo 2......Plagerist..... -.- | |
| 25 Sep 2002 | Amy W. Clark | Humm. . . I do like the simplicity, and the shape, although Rowan has a point -- it does look like the sword from Diablo 2. Were you inspired by that?
Anyway, my advice would be to add some shading -- make one half of the sword (longwise) darker than the other half, to indicate sharp edges and a light source, and add a few bars of light across the blade. If it's crystal, maybe make the edges a bit rougher and add sparkles.
Hope that helps! | |

| 5 Jan 2006 | Dokii | One tip. The sword handle are the same. The hilt is slid on. All of it would be a tad bit shinier. Good picture anyways. | |
