SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mist in the Moonlight

This is just something I drew as practice for a comic I'm making, inspired largely by Oriental ghost stories. The characters here are the spirit of a long dead warrior and the ghost of a recently dead woman, who meet in a surreal place surrounded by moonlit mists. I was aiming for something slightly resembling watercolors, and it turned out pretty much as intended. Ink drawing colored in Photoshop.

27 Aug 2001	Hanna Lehmusto	Loading... This _is_ an impressing picture! Very pretty colours, and the warrior´s pose is excellent. Other than that, as Stavros already wrote, the lady looks far more dead than the warrior (unless it´s something like the spirits getting clearer as time goes by...?) Nay, that´s after all a minor thing. This is beautiful.

I can almost hear the flute in the background (it is a flute, yes? that thing you get in some Japanese samurai movies...er, somebody knows what I'm talking about, right? o.O) I voted for leaving the woman's robes as-is: she looks like she's dissolving into (or out of) the mist.
27 Aug 2001	Stavros Tsiakalos	Loading... I like how the mist moves to enforce the figures. The tiny problem I have with it is taht I would have never guessed the warrior was dead too. Maybe if his skin was a deader color?

Has that old-style Japanese screen-print look to it...I'd almost like to see that style pressed even farther, maybe give some of the layers of robes on the standing figure a printed pattern--something dark to break up all that white. But overall, very snazzy.
