SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sailing into the Heavens

A new painting for my husbands birthday ^_^ I wanted something dreamy and fluffy and I think clouds fit the part. We've been having such interesting cloud formations around our area of late and at times they look like a whole armada sailing across the hills. I wanted to capture a little bit of that so I opted with just one sailing ship complete with a couple of seagulls. ^_^ A ship off on a high heaven adventure.. Painted right onto screen without a drawing at all. Photoshop and Wacom Graphire tablet.
