SciFi and Fantasy Art: Unicorn of the Night

Been wanting to make a dark companion pic to my Unicorn of the Storm pic. The nice dark irridescence look skin colour scheme gave a slightly surreal look to the creature! ^_^ Painted in photoshop with mouse!(still saving for that tablet) If I hear one more this is an alicorn pic I'll scream. An alicorn is the name of a unicorns horn, not the whole creature! ^_^
(Update Nov '02)- This pic is now the subject cover of a wonderful 300 page poetry book by Karen Davies called Fancy Flight. Please look up this title at www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com
This work is copyright to me so please do not use/take it without my permission and under no cicumstances do not alter it in anyway thank you.

Yes this is a great picture! I especially LOVE the big trademark in the center of the picture!! It really brings out the colors and...blah forget it I make a terrible smartass. The trademark sucks, get rid of it so we can enjoy the view.

Alicorn may mean "the horn" in French, but it means "wing horn" in Latin. I prefer to call it a Unisus, however. I've seen them called Unisus, Pegacorn, Alicorn, Unipeg, and Cerapter. Gorgeous picture by the way. I want a black one for myself. 1
